Anthony F. Mansolillo

69, of Cranston, passed away August 11", 2021 at Roger Williams Medical Center
after a courageous two-year battle with leukemia. He was the husband of Jill M. (Sormanti) Mansolillo. Born in
Providence on September 3rd, 1951, he was the son of the late Charles C. and Mary (Fusco) Mansolillo and lived in
Cranston all his life.
Anthony, known to close friends and family as Tony, was the middle child of five children born to Charles and Mary
Mansolillo. He was named for his uncle, Anthony Francis Mansolillo, who passed away at the age of 16, just several
months before Anthony was born. As the only boy among four sisters, Anthony was doted on by his family.
Anthony enjoyed growing up in the Italian enclave of Knightsville, where he was proud to return later on in life. He
was one of the earliest graduates of St. Mary School in Cranston in 1965 and Bishop Hendricken High School in
1969. He attended Texas Christian University and Rhode Island College, where he received a Master's in
Psychology.
Anthony was a clinical psychologist at the John 0. Pastore Center in Cranston, before retiring in 2010 after 33 years.  He and Jill would have celebrated 25 years of marriage on August 25th. Anthony considered that day to be one of the best of his life.
Anthony enjoyed golfing, playing the guitar, and even playing video games. An avid television watcher, Anthony enjoyed watching football, World War ll documentaries, and a variety of movies; his recent favorite was the "Harry
Potter" series, which he considered a masterpiece. Anthony loved family trips to Florida, especially to Walt Disney
World. To Anthony, education was important above all else, which was an important lifelong lesson he made sure to instill in his sons. He was known for his proud personality, his wacky sense of humor, but most of all, his
dedication to his sons Anthony and Marc.
Anthony was the devoted father of Anthony S. Mansolillo and his girlfriend Amanda Almonte, and Marc Mansolillo, all of Cranston. He was the beloved brother of Geraldine Branca and her husband Albert, and Celeste Christofaro and her husband Dennis, all of Cranston; Janet Mahfood and her husband Dale of Cooper City, Fl; and the late Jo-
Ann Fisher.
