Anthony J. Esposito, Sr. 84, of Borden Avenue, Johnston, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008, at Our Lady of Fatima, North Providence. He was the husband of the late Mary D. (Kilcullen) Esposito. Born in Providence; he was a son of the late Salvatore and Antonetta (Balasco) Esposito. Mr. Esposito was a truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local #251, Providence. He was a US Army veteran serving during WW II. Mr. Esposito was a former member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. He is survived by his children Richard A. Esposito and Dolores A. Saritelli both of Scituate, Joan Mann of Smithfield, Anthony J. Esposito of Johnston, Jeanne M. Roberts of Smithfield and Mary D. Esposito of Johnston. Mr. Esposito was the grandfather of six and the great-grandfather of three. He was the brother of Emily Tarro of Cranston and the late John Esposito and Anna Santagata. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, Hartford Avenue, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
