Anthony R. "Bob" D'Uva

83, of Cranston, passed away peacefully surrounded by family Thursday January 11, 2024 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Chatwin) D’Uva.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Anthony S. and Brigid (Ricciardi) D’Uva. Bob was the former owner and President of OSSCO Bolt & Screw Company for many years before retiring. He was a US Marine Veteran during the Vietnam era and a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.

Bob was a lifelong clarinetist, performing in the Marine Corps band and RI Philharmonic Orchestra. He was an avid golfer with the Crazy Eights at Valley Country Club, stamp collector, and sailor.

Besides his wife Bob is survived by his loving sons Andrew R. D'Uva of Delray Beach, FL, Nicholas R. D'Uva of Raleigh, NC, and Matthew R. D'Uva of Providence; his grandson Drake C. D'Uva and his sister Claire Castillo of Cranston. He was the former husband of the late Nancy E. D'Uva. He also leaves behind his beloved dogs.

His funeral service will be held on Friday January 19, 2024 at 10 am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in RI Veterans Cemetery Exeter.

Visiting hours are Thursday January 18, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm.
