Anthony DeMaria

91, of Providence passed away on Friday May 28, 2010 at Roger Williams Hospital, Providence. Married 64 years, he was the beloved husband of Ella (Croce) DeMaria. Born in Providence, Anthony was the son of the late Salvatore and Catherine (Schiano) DeMaria.

Mr. DeMaria was the former owner and operator of Ye Colony Bakery in Cranston, and was also a WW II Army veteran. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Lisa DeMaria Mayne and her husband Kevin of East Greenwich and Ellen DeMaria of Westerly. Anthony was also the cherished grandfather of Avonlea and Helene Mayne, and brother of the late Gennaro and John DeMaria, Mary Klein and Carmela Razza.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday morning at 11 am in Blessed Sacrament Church, Academy Ave, Providence. A visitation hour will be held prior to the Mass on Tuesday from 9-10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
