of Cranston, passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at RI Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Ann T. (Heelan) Cipriano for 53 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Alfred and Clotilda (D’Anella) Cipriano.
A graduate of Georgetown University and Suffolk Law School, Anthony retired as Chief Legal Council for the RI Department of Corrections after 30 years of service.
He was the devoted father of Anthony A. Cipriano, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Falls Church, VA, Christopher J. Cipriano of Cranston, Gregory S. Cipriano and his wife Melissa of Midland, TX, Patricia A. Cipriano of Cranston and Karen M. Cipriano-Porto of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Olivia, Emilia, Gregory Jr. and Isabella; and dear brother of Alfred A. Cipriano and his wife Carol of NH.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, November 3rd at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
