ANTHONY C. CANARIO

Anthony C. Canario 84, of Joy St. Johnston passed away Thursday May 21, 2009. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence (DelDuca) Canario. Born in West Warwick, a son of the late Salvatore and Giovanna (Santilli) Canario. Anthony was a Superintendent for United Wire & Supply, and was also a bartender at Sonny Russo's Restaurant and Lounge. He was a member of the Santa Maria di Prata Society, and was a past member of the Alpine Country Club. He was also a WW II Army veteran. He is survived by his loving children Patricia Canario of Cranston, Maria Albanese and her husband Henry of West Warwick; he was also the father of the late Joanne Testa, and father in-law of Michael Testa of North Kingstown. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of Michaela Frattarelli and her husband Louis of Bristol. He was also the brother of Rose Mackenzie of Johnston, and the late Pasco Canario, his twin brother. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11 am in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave. Johnston. Burial will be Private. VISITING HOURS: Monday 5-7 pm. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
