90, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Cecile (Iannelli) Campanile for 41 years. Mr. Campanile owned Tony’s Barber Shop in Warwick and was a barber for 55 years before retiring. He was a long-time member of the Massasoit Gun Club, winning many trophies for his skeet shooting abilities; he was also a member of the Galilee Beach Club. Tony loved spending time with his family. He also cherished meeting his close friends daily for coffee.
Besides his wife Cecile, he is survived by his loving children, Anthony Campanile Jr., of Cranston, Cynthia DeMarco and her husband Christopher of Norton, MA, and Kimberly Almonte of Cranston. Anthony was the cherished grandfather of five and great grandfather of three. He was the brother of John Zannini of Wycoff, NJ, Richard Zannini of Buckeye, AZ, and Ronald Zannini of New Bedford, MA.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, Feb. 10th, at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday morning from 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
