ANTHONY J. CAMBIO

80, of East Greenwich, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth's Home, East Greenwich. He was the beloved husband of fifty-two years to Beatrice "Bette" (Lucena) Cambio of Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Vincenza (Parisi) Cambio. Mr. Cambio was a biology teacher at Cranston East High School for thirty-two years before his retirement. He was a graduate of Providence College with a pre-med degree. Anthony was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War as a medic, working with patients with memory loss.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Robert D. Cambio of Warwick, his brother Albert Robert Cambio of Warwick,and also leaves his wonderful family.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Elizabeth's Home, Unit 1, 1 Saint Elizabeth's Way, East Greenwich, RI 02818.
