ANTHONY L. BUONOMANO

ANTHONY L. BUONOMANO, 82, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009 at home. He was the beloved husband of the late Anna L. (D'Ambra) Buonomano. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Vito and Virginia (Calise) Buonomano.

Mr. Buonomano was a receiver for BIF Industries in Providence for many years before retiring and later worked at R&D Tool Engineering. He was also a former Cranston Emergency Police Officer and a U.S. Army veteran of both WW-II and Korean War.

He was the devoted father of Linda A. DuBois and Deborah L. Campopiano and her husband Richard, all of Cranston, Robert A. Buonomano and his wife Susan of Bolton, CT and Paula Given and her husband James of South Kingstown; proud and loving grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; and dear brother of Lucille Calcagni of Greenville, Dr. Vito Buonomano of Narragansett, Vincent Buonomano of Brazil and the late Clementina Forte and Vincent V. Buonomano.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 5-8 p.m.
