ANTHONY M. BUCCI

82, of Cranston, died Monday, February 22, 2010, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of the late Laurette (Hudon) Bucci. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Domenico and Antoinette (Chiello) Bucci. Mr. Bucci was a Superintendent for State of RI Cranston Facility for thirty-six years before retiring in 1993. Anthony was part of the Freddie Miller Stock Car #6 Racing Team and a member of the New England Stock Car Racing Association. For over fifty-six years he was a surf caster fisherman at Cape Cod and RI areas as a member of the Woonsocket Striper Club and the MBBA. He is survived by his daughter, Susan E. Brouillard and her husband Roger of Cranston. Anthony was the brother of Domenic Bucci of Cranston, Francis "Frank" Bucci of Johnston and the late Anna and Eleanor Bucci. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his committal prayer service on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Ann's Cemetery Chapel, in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston Street, Cranston, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday 2-5 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
