Anthony N. "Tony" Brunetti, 83, of Harbour Island, Narragansett, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband for 57 years of Angela (Persechino) Brunetti. Born in Providence, the son of the late Antonio and Michelina (Amore) Brunetti, he lived in Pawtucket for 24 years, before moving to Narragansett in 1981. Tony was the Director of Brunetti Realty Company, former President of Acme Heating & Air Conditioning Supply Inc., and Sales Manager for AMTROL, Inc. for 15 years before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran serving in the South Pacific. He was a graduate of Johnson & Wales University and attended the Oil Heat Institute of New England and the I.B.R. Heating Schools. He attended Bryant University, University of Connecticut and the RI Association of Realtors School. He was Member of the Corporation of Johnson & Wales University; former President of JWU Alumni Association; former President of the North End Businessmen's Association of Providence; former member of the National Association of Service Managers; the RI Oil Heat Institute; the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers and the Alpine Country Club. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Pope Pius Council; Narragansett Lions Club; and Kent Washington Board of Realtors. A communicant of St. Mary, Star of the Sea Parish, Tony enjoyed his family, golfing, travel and was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Anthony Brunetti and his wife Janet and Paul Brunetti and his wife Peggy, all of Narragansett, David Brunetti and his wife Cynthia of South Kingstown and Lisa Nademlynsky and her husband Mike of Charlestown; loving grandfather of AJ, Christina, Vikki, Paul, Kyle and Stephanie; and dear brother of the late Antonetta Marcello, Irene Bruno and Angela Deebo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, Point Judith Rd., Narragansett, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME - SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt.1A), Narragansett on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment with military honors will be at St. Ann Cemetery in Cranston.
