ANNETTE ANN (CELANI) PESATURO

55, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence, after a thirteen and a half year battle against breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of fourteen years to Thomas Pesaturo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Ann A.(Garafano) Celani of North Providence and the late John Celani. Annette graduated Phi Beta Kappa from URI, Class of 1983. She was a dedicated English teacher for the Providence School Department at Roger Williams Middle School, for twenty-eight years. Annette was selected for a scholarship masters program at Brown University for English Language Learners. She was the department head for twenty-five years and was the chairperson to the graduation at the school.

Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by one sister Adele A. Beck and her husband Kenneth of Lincoln, one brother John A. Celani and his wife Daebrien DeSimone of Cranston. Annette was the cherished aunt of Kenneth J. Beck, Kevin D. Beck and his wife Rita, Brian E. Beck and his wife Tracey, and Christian J. Celani. She was the loving great-aunt of Kayla, Amber, Alissa, and Kyle Beck.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adele R. Decof Foundation, One Smith Hill, Providence, RI 02903.
