80, of Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. She was surrounded by her loving family as she passed from Earth into God's Heavenly Kingdom. Anne was the loving wife of the late Lt. Harry M. Fortin (PFD). Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Allie and Viola (Coia) Izzi. Anne was employed by the City of Providence working in Community Development for 20 years until her retirement. She was a member of Local 1033, Knightsville Senior Center, Amy Forand Society, Johnston Senior Center and was an avid card player and traveler. She is survived by her children Gayle A. Sepe-Adamek and her husband Mark of Cranston, Greta M. Mahoney and her husband Kevin of Venice, FL, Gary S. Fortin and his wife Brenda of Johnston, Gregory A. Fortin and his wife Laurie of Forest Hill, MD, Glen M. Fortin and his wife Kerri of Johnston. Anne was the loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Lucien Izzi, Elda Pace and Dorothy De Leo. Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 3:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
