ANNA (PERSECHINO) WILLIAMS

87, of Cranston passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday November 17, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the wife of the late Alfred A. Williams. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Madeline (Rizzo) Pereschino. Anna last worked for Swarovski Crystal of Cranston for 6 years retiring in 1986. She was a member and Past Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and also was a volunteer Foster Grandparent. She was the mother of Ann Marie Bataitis of Scituate, A. Alfred Williams of Cranston, Roger A. Williams of Englewood, Florida and Glenn A. Williams of Deerfield Beach, Florida; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Pasco Persechino of Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Community Church Presbyterian, 805 Main Avenue, Warwick, and may call at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Friday 4-8 p.m. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
