Anna M. (DeFazio) Venditelli

Anna M. (DeFazio) Venditelli

of Johnston, passed away Friday December 21, 2018 at RI Hospital in Providence.  She was the wife of the late George Venditelli.  A lifelong Johnston resident, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Amelia (Domenicone) DeFazio.

Anna was employed by Curtis Mfg. of Johnston for many years until retiring.  She was a life member of Ocean State Chapter of the Submarine Veterans of WWII, Johnston Senior Center and the Kelly Gazzero Post.  She enjoyed gardening, playing Bingo, yoga, walking daily, watching and feeding the birds and cooking for family and friends in need.

Ann had a strong love for God and the Blessed Mother and always kept everyone in her daily prayers.

She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth “Betty” Vallante, and her companion Robert Antunes, of Scituate; her son Steven and his wife Denise Venditelli of Hope; her grandchildren Edmund (Kelly) Vallante, Erica Vallante, Brian (Laura) Venditelli and Careena (James) Robertson; nine great grandchildren; she was the sister of the late Emily Nero, Michael and Americo DeFazio and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Thursday at 9a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to A Wish Come True 1010 Warwick Ave. Warwick, RI 02888 or the RI Community Food Bank  200 Niantic Ave. Providence, RI 02907.
