ANNA R. DE SANTE

Anna R. (Castriotta) DeSante 76, of Woodland Drive, Coventry died Friday, August 10, 2007 at Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the wife of the late Orest R. DeSante. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Pietro and Vincenza (Castriotta) Castriotta. Mrs. DeSante worked for the former Monet Jewelry Company of Pawtucket for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her children, Doreen Eckman and her husband Rick, Richard DeSante and his wife Emma, all of North Providence, David DeSante and his wife Lisa of Burrillville. Mrs. DeSante was the grandmother of six. She was the sister of Matthew and Lawrence Castriotta, both of Coventry, George Castriotta of Louisiana, and Guy Castriotta of Coventry, her twin sister Jaye Montefusco of Coventry, Mary Valletta of Warwick and Carmela Vendresca of East Greenwich. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in SS. John and Paul Church, 341 South Main Street, Coventry. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
