Anna T.( Marriett) Pelli, 84, of Cranston was called home Monday April 14 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was born January 5, 1924, the daughter of Concetta ( D'Arrezzo) and John Marriett. A lifelong resident of Cranston she was a 1942 graduate of Cranston High School. Upon graduation she went to work at American Bosch while her high school sweetheart, John, was serving with the U. S. Navy during World War II. Upon his return they were married on July 4, 1946 and celebrated 61 years of marriage. In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her four children, her daughter Donna and her husband Alan Palombo of West Warwick, her sons, Mark and his wife Colleen of Warwick, John and his wife Marcia of Westfield Massachusetts and Michael of Cranston. Anna was the devoted grandmother of Dr. Jennifer Pelli Packard, Christopher Pelli, Mheagean McKay and Nathan Schweary. She is also survived by a sister, Lucy and brother -in-law Robert Ormrod, her brother-in-law Leonard Loveridge, and many nieces and nephews. Anna was predeceased by her step mother Josephine Marriett, her sister Barbara Loveridge and her cherished grand daughter Megan Elizabeth Pelli. Anna was a life long communicant of St Mary's Parish, Cranston where she served children in the CCD program for over 25 years and was a recreational volunteer for the last several years at Victoria Court. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-8 pm.
