86, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Cra-Mar Meadows in Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late William A. Ferri, Sr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Anna (Cardi) Migliori.
Mrs. Ferri graduated from Rhode Island Hospital School of Nursing followed by 6 years of dedicated compassionate care to critically ill children at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. The only thing Anna loved more than her care of others through nursing was her family. She was a remarkably devoted stay-at-home mom and wife for the next 16 years. She returned to work outside of her home as a registered nurse and office manager for her brother, Joseph L. Migliori, MD, LLC, for the next 30 years until her retirement. Anna’s calling was lovingly caring for others. Her life’s work was nursing. However, her life’s passion was faith and family. Anna led with a quiet conviction and was an unwavering example of her Catholic faith as a lifelong member of St. Mary Church in Cranston. She loved to bake, sew, crochet, craft, and read. Her quiet humble way of life sheltered others from knowing she was artistic and enjoyed painting and drawing, playing the piano, and attending the theatre. She endearingly nurtured these interests in her children and grandchildren.
Anna is survived by her loving children, Annette M. Ferri of Cranston, William A. Ferri Jr., MD, of Pittsburgh, PA, David J. Ferri of Cranston, Kenneth R. Ferri of North Kingstown, Raymond T. Ferri, MD and his wife Stephanie of Plainfield, NH, Maryann E. Crudale and her husband Anthony of Cranston, and Paul E. Ferri and his wife Beth of South Windsor, CT. She was also the mother in-law of the late Theresa M. Ferri. Anna was the cherished grandmother of Caroline and Anthony Crudale, Brian, Justin, Matthew, Nathan, Erica, Kaleigh and Samuel Ferri, and great-grandmother of Blake Ferri. She was also the adoring grandmother of the late Joseph A. Crudale and Jason R. Ferri. Anna was the sister of the late Julius C. Migliori, MD and Joseph Migliori, MD and sister in-law of the late Gloria Migliori.
Due to COVID-19, funeral services are respectfully private.
Memorial donations may be made in Anna’s name to St. Mary Church Memorial Fund 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston, RI 02920 and Hope Health Hospice at 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
