67, of Seekonk, MA, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Lifecare Center of Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Marcel Hamel. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Noemia (Manni) Santurri. Anna was employed as a secretary for the former Bulova Watch Company of Providence for twenty-seven years. She was an avid animal lover.
She is survived by her son William E. Tella, Jr. of Johnston and long time companion Roger Desvergnes. She was the sister of Viola Laspisa of NY, John Santurri, and Virginia Izzo, both of Cranston and the late Armando, Alfred, Mario, Guido Santurri, Jean Pellegrino and Ida Bianco. She was the grandmother of Danielle Tella of NC and Brittany Davis of Newport.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted.
