ANNA M. (DI CECCO) GARNER, 81, of Sargent St., Warwick, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Frederic B. Garner. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Peter and Filomena (Confreda) Di Cecco, she was a lifelong Warwick resident.
Anna worked at Victoria Creations in East Providence for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, especially with her sisters. She was the devoted mother of Donna M. Silva and her husband Dennis of Jamestown and Ann M. Navakauskas and her husband John of Exeter; loving grandmother of Michele Vutech, Stacey Healey and Ryan, Emily and Dylan Navakauskas; loving great-grandmother of Molly, Anika and Thomas; and dear sister of Concetta Scarduzio of Narragansett, Julia Beauchamp, Jennie Golish and Gloria Di Benedetto, all of Warwick and the late Elizabeth Arlia. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Thursday at 8:45 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. William Church, 200 Pettaconsett Ave., Warwick at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in West Greenwich.
