88, formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Danele “Dante” DeCesaris.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Pellegrino “Billy” and Angelina (Salzillo) Carrera.
Mrs. DeCesaris was a homemaker and had worked as a CNA. Anna was an avid walker and enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed spending summers at her home in Narragansett and camping.
She leaves her children, Ronald DeCesaris and his wife Deborah of West Warwick, Marianne Medeiros and her husband Robert of Coventry and Dana Micheletti of Cranston; a sister, Corinne Grande of Greenville; five grandchildren, Daniel DeCesaris (Rebecca), Andrea DeCesaris (Tina), Jamie Medeiros (Bryan Jusczyk), Kailyn Jester (Matthew) and Taryn Micheletti and four great-grandchildren, Anthony DeCesaris, Joseph DeCesaris, Julian Jusczyk and John Jester. She was the sister of the late Domenico “Tommy” Carrera, Nanette Shannon and Richard Carrera.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 7, 2022, at 9am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Mary Church, Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. VISITING HOURS Wednesday from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, PO Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
