Anna (Bucacci) Cardillo

95, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Cardillo, Sr. for sixty years.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Margherita (Faggioli) Bucacci.

Mrs. Cardillo worked in jewelry and upholstery design before retiring. She loved to cook and garden; and enjoyed going to the beach.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves her son, Thomas J. Cardillo Jr. and his wife Linda of Exeter; her daughter and sole caregiver Patricia A.M. Cardillo of Johnston; two grandchildren, Vanessa M. Andrew and her husband Benjamin and Joseph A. Cardillo; two great-granddaughters, Olivia A. and Hailey J. Andrew; a sister, Nancy Giolitti; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was the sister of the late, Mary Caprio, Clara, Frank, Tolemeo, Anthony, Romano, Louis, John, Salvatore and Paul Bucacci.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 11am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Road, Johnston.  Her burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Unit 200, Providence, RI 02908, the American Lung Association, 260 West Exchange Street, Providence, RI 02903 or the National Shrine of St. Jude, 3200 East 91st Street, Chicago, IL 60617.
