ANN MARIE (DE MELO) PURSCHE

63, of Johnston, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Paul Pursche, Jr. They were married for the past 43 years. Ann Marie was born in Providence a daughter of the late Paul and Marjorie (Paliotta) DeMelo. Mrs. Pursche was a Special Education Teacher's Aide for the Johnston School System until her retirement.



Besides her beloved husband, she is survived by her loving children, Paul Pursche and his companion Patricia Andreozzi of West Warwick, David Pursche and his companion Stacy Scarduzio of Johnston and Stephen Pursche and his wife Natarcia of West Warwick. She was also the dear sister of Marjorie Darragh and her husband Wayne of Cranston, John DeMelo of FL and the sister in-law of Cheryl DeMelo of Johnston and was the sister of the late Paula DeMelo. Ann Marie was the daughter in-law of Paul E. and Josephine Pursche, Sr. She was the sister in-law of Cheryl and Anthony Gallo and Patricia and Richard Ballard. She is survived by wonderful grandchildren and nieces and nephews.



Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Interment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday morning 8-10 am.
