ANN ORR PICCHIONE

81, died Thursday, May 5th at home. She was the wife of the late Nicholas Everett Picchione. She was born in Providence, daughter of the late James J.Orr and the late Helen Salisbury Orr and sister of Helen "Tish" Daley of North Providence and the late John Orr. She is survived by her five children Deborah Ann Baldwin, Nicholas Picchione II, Nancy O. Avanzino all of Narragansett, Mary E. Day of Thornton, New Hampshire and Helen L. Graham of Greenland, New Hampshire along with eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was a Trustee of Dome Publishing Co. and John J. Orr & Sons. She was a longstanding member of Point Judith Country Club, The Dunes Club, The Handicraft Club and The Agawan Hunt Club. She graduated from St. Xavier in 1948 and worked for Industrial National Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for her on Tuesday, May 10th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the mass; burial is private at the request of the family. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
