ANN (VIGILANTI) OSTER

87 of Knight St. passed away Friday March 23, 2012 at home. She was the companion of the late William DeNuccio.

Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Gioacchino and Anatolia (Infussi) Vigilanti.

She is survived by her son Frank Oster with whom she resided; her granddaughters Deanna Wall and Alicia Oster who she encouraged to pursue higher education, to work hard and become the women they are today; her great granddaughter Anna Wall was the light of her life and her happiest times were those spent with her and she was the sister of the late Mary Parillo, Elissa Corvese, Josephine Gruttadauria, Thomas, Tony and Gaetano Vigilanti.

Ann was a former waitress at Mainelli's Restaurant, Providence, she enjoyed watching the Red Sox and loved to cook and take care of her family and everyone she met. She was also fond of her dog Sophie and every pet she ever encountered

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 11:15am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
