Ann "Anna" (Ruggieri) Hudson

97, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late William Hudson. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rosina (Capirchio) Ruggieri. 

Ann dedicated 15 years of her life as a travel agent for Globe Travel, where she cultivated a love for exploration and adventure. Her passion for traveling blossomed further when she shared this joy with her late husband, William, creating unforgettable memories around the globe. She was a member of Melodi Hills Country Club for 21 years and lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church.

Beyond her professional life, Anna took immense pride in her family. She played an instrumental role in raising her nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews, embodying unwavering devotion to them. Her love and commitment to family were the cornerstones of her life. Ann was the cherished sister of Joseph Ruggieri, the late Luigi Ruggieri, Mary St. Jean, Theresa Tantimonaco, and John Ruggieri.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
