Ann M. DeFelice

93 of Cranston passed away on Thursday July 18, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Filomena (Iannuccilli) Scungio. She was the wife of the late Arthur D. DeFelice.

Ann started as a homemaker in her own home, and then at the age of 47 she returned to school and received her associate’s degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from nursing; her last employer was St. Elizabeth’s Home in Providence. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, including her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had two cherished dogs Sophia and Ella.

She is survived by her children Arthur D. DeFelice (Fiorella), and Ronald A. DeFelice. She leaves her grandchildren Arthur DeFelice (Shana), Thomas DeFelice (Kris), Adamo DeFelice (Sarah), Alessia DeFelice, and Anthony DeFelice. She also leaves her great grandchildren Nicholas, Celia, Evelyn, Santino, Augustus, and Anna. She was the sister of Benjamin V. Scungio. She was predeceased by her son David A. DeFelice, a daughter-in-law Brenda DeFelice, and a sister Marie D. Ricci.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday July 24, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Church St., Cranston. Everyone is invited to go directly to the church. Entombment will he at St. Ann’s Cemetery. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 -8:00pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
