Ann J. Corvese, 93 of Cranston passed away Tuesday March 29, 2022, peacefully at home with her family by her side. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angelina (Rioles) Santaumauro. She was the beloved wife of the late Sgt. Louis Corvese, Jr., CPD.
She was a dental hygienist for many years for Dr. Samuel Gorfine, DDS. Ann graciously took care of her handicapped son for 45 years. Family was most important to Ann, she enjoyed family meals and preparing those meals for her family.
Ann was the devoted mother to Deborah Buono and her husband Jeff Van of Cranston, Louis Corvese, III of Cranston, Kenneth Corvese and his wife Veronica of West Warwick, and Brian Corvese of Cranston. She was the beloved grandmother of “her angel” Stephanie Buono, Stephen Buono, Alissa Seguin, Keri Champagne, Brian Corvese, Jr., Louis Corvese, IV, Michael Corvese, and Joseph Capuano, and Michael Capuano. She was also the great-grandmother of seven. She was the aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Marie Wood.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday April 4, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. in St. George Maronite Catholic Church, Cranston, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery.
