ANN (COLARUSSO) CARLSON

Of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, North Providence. She was the faithful devoted wife of the late Ralph V. Carlson, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Madeline (Contillio) Colarusso. Ann was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church since 1984. She devotedly cared for her late husband and parents. Ann always visited her elderly shut in relatives. Ever faithful she loved her entire family and valued all of them. She was a very loving aunt that will be forever sadly missed. Ann was the sister of Louise Garrity of New Jersey and her late husband James. She was the sister-in-law of Jean O'Neil of Rhode Island and Nina Carlson of Georgia. Ann was the loving aunt of Peter J. Colarusso and his wife Stella of Cranston, Mary L. Garrity Troisi and her husband Bill of South Carolina, Leonard Garrity and his wife Maureen, Thomas Garrity and his wife Sandra, Leslie L. Carlson and Pamela C. Bosworth. She is also survived by numerous great-nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in Swan Point Cemetery, Providence. VISITING HOURS Thursday 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 941 Jefferson Blvd, Suite 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
