65, of Quail Hollow Rd., passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family and dear friends. She was the beloved wife of Paul A. Stabile for 40 years. Anita was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Joseph and Nicolina (DeNucci) Campagnone. Mrs. Stabile was employed as a cook at Sodexo school lunch program for 20 years and had previously been employed as a secretary at RI Hospital Cancer Research Department in Dr. Leone's office. Anita lived life to the fullest enjoying cooking, entertaining, spending quality time with her family and friends and especially her precious times going to Foxwood's Bingo with her best girlfriend of 60 years, "Auntie Lee." She also leaves behind another lifelong girl-friend, " Auntie Ruthie." Beside her husband she is survived by her children Paul Joseph Stabile, Jennifer Lee Furtado, and son-in-law Steven, all of Cranston. She was the sister of the late Elizabeth Nordberg. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00am in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
