ANGELO DI RAIMO

Angelo DiRaimo 97, of Cranston passed away Monday July 27, 2009 at the Cherry Hill Nursing Home, in Johnston. He was the beloved husband of the late Florence (Ricci) DiRaimo. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Guiseppe and Antonia (Valente) DiRaimo. Mr. DiRaimo was a Supervisor at various Textile Companies throughout the state of RI .He was a member of the Kelly-Gazzero Senior Citizens, and was a Past President of Thorton Senior Citizens. Angelo is survived by his loving daughter, Lillian A. Ferrara and her husband William of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of 6, great grandfather of 11, brother of Anthony DeRaimo of Cranston, and was the father in-law of Norma DiRaimo of Cranston. Angelo was the father of the late Alfred A. DiRaimo, and was the brother of the late Frank DiRaimo and Angelina Buttero. His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Brigid's Church Plainfield St. Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday 8-9 am.
