81 , of Mendon Road, Cumberland passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020 at home. He was the husband of the late Maria (Cefala) Pino. Born in Calabria, Italy he was a son of the late Gaspare and Carmela (Bongiovanni) Pino. Mr Pino was a cabinet maker for the L. Vaughn Company for 30 years prior to his retirement.  He was a member of the Local 94 Carpenters union. He was a soccer player in Italy and enjoyed watching Italian soccer at home.  His Italian heritage was so very important to him. He enjoyed time in his vegetable garden and making wine. He always gave most of what he grew away to family and friends. His generosity had no bounds. As he always said to loved ones “Family is number 1”. At Miriam Hospital while receiving treatments he was referred to as the Mayor of Miriam Hospital because of his warmth and support to everyone there. He is survived by his loving children Ronald Pino and his wife Stephanie of Killingly, CT and Carmela Penta and her husband Barry of Cumberland. He was the father of the late Jasper F. Pino.  He was the brother of Concetta Romagnolo of Italy a d Vincenzo Pino of Italy.

His funeral and burial will be private.
