83, of Cranston, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 1, 2011. Angelo was the beloved husband of Etta (Christy) Crudale for 62 years. He was a lifelong resident of Cranston. Mr. Crudale was the son of the late Arthur and Angelina (Cardi) Crudale. Mr. Crudale served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. He received an Associate's degree in Applied Science, with honors, from RI Junior College in 1976. He belonged to the Union of Operating Engineers Local 57. He was employed as a heavy equipment operator by Campanella and Cardi Construction Company then Cardi Corporation for many years. He enjoyed cooking and coming up with new culinary creations for his family to enjoy. And, for as long as he was able, he loved helping to "fix things" for which he had an amazing talent. His spontaneous sense of humor was a blessing to his family and part of the legacy he leaves. His greatest source of pride and joy was the love and laughter of his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children Dr. Angelo S. Crudale and his wife Mary of Danville, CA, Allan Crudale and his wife Jean of Milford, MA and Audrey Hoyos and her husband David of Attleboro, MA. Mr. Crudale also leaves behind seven grandsons, a granddaughter and five great-grandchildren. Angelo was the brother of Alphonse E. Crudale and the late Arthur A. Crudale. His funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, Cranston at 10:00 a.m. Burial with Military Honors will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
