Angelo Capone

82, of Elite Dr. Cranston died Sunday March 30, 2008 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center Providence. He was the husband of the late Lucy (Lautieri) Capone. Born in Providence he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Marianna (Vessella) Capone. Mr. Capone was employed by Pakula Mfg. until retiring in 1991. Previously he was employed by Coro Mfg. He was a WW-2 Army Veteran serving in the Battle of the Bulge. He Boxed in the military, played for the Hartford AC Football and was a member of the RI Paper Box Bowling League for 45 years. His enjoyment was family, bowling, golf and shooting pool. Mr. Capone is survived by his two sons Joseph Capone of Lincoln and Robert Capone of Cranston, four grandchildren David, Stefanie, Katie and Maryssa Capone, one sister Elena Anzeveno of Johnston and was brother of the Maria Torvi. His funeral, with Military Honors, will be held on Thursday at 9:45am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church Cranston at 11am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Wednesday 4-8pm.
