ANGELO G. CALABRO

Angelo G. Calabro 74, of Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, died Monday, April 7, 2008 at Kent County Hospital, Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Angelo and Geraldine (D'Amico) Calabro. Mr. Calabro was employed by the former Taft-Peirce Inc. of Cumberland in the maintenance department for five years before retiring in 1991. He also worked for various food markets in the Providence area for many years. He was an avid train collector. He is survived by two brothers, Vincent P. and Kenneth J. Calabro both of North Providence and two sisters Dolores N. Doucette of Coventry and Sandra M. Zablocki of North Providence and the late Frances Ciarlo, Loretta and Lawrence Calabro. Mr. Calabro is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, 624 Woonasquatucket Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
