ANGELO DI BATTISTA

94, passed away on February 4. He was the husband of the late Viola (Cifu) DiBattista. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arcangelo and Rosina (D'Orio) DiBattista. Angelo was the Production Manager for American Tourister Luggage for 51 years. He was a US Army Veteran serving in World War II, and enjoyed politics and sports, especially the New York Yankees. A devoted family man, he leaves a daughter, Carole DiBattista of Cranston, a son, Dr. Ronald DiBattista and his wife of North Kingstown, and two grandchildren. Brother of Eva Iacchei, and the late Daniel DiBattista, Maria Cotoia and Lucy Ventura. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Providence Street, West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: INSIGHT, 43 Jefferson Blvd, Warwick, RI 02888.
