90, of Providence, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 peacefully at home. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Onorato) Angelino. Born in a small town in Italy, Pascarola, Caivano, Napoli. Angelo was a son of the late Giorgio and Giovanna (Campanile) Angelino.
Mr. Angelino was a machinist for many years, before retiring. During his retirement he enjoyed fishing, gardening, and making wine every season.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Giorgio Angelino and his wife Linda, of Venice, FL, John “Giovanni” Angelino and his wife Maria of Foster, Gemma Illiano Leclerc and her husband Eric of North Providence, Antonio Angelino and his wife Sheryl of Coventry, Orsola Angelino and her companion Luke Monopoli of Orlando, FL, and Giuseppe Angelino and his wife Donna of Scituate. Angelo was the cherished grandfather of Cipriano M. Illiano, Angelo Illiano, Cristina M. Mancone, Sofia M. Illiano, John Angelino Jr., Franco G. Angelino, Sara M. Thomas, Angelo T. Angelino, Michael A. Angelino, Giorgio P. Angelino, Joseph T. Angelino, Maria D. Angelino, and the late Angelo Joseph Angelino and Angelo Leo Angelino. He was the great grandfather of Anthony Cambio Illiano, Vincenzo A. Illiano, Paul Mancone, III, and Robert L. Thomas, IV. Angelo was the dear brother of his late siblings, Antonio Angelino, Lucia (Angelino)Sciarra, Rosa Angelino, Giuseppina Angelino, Giuseppe Angelino (Twin) and Maria Angelino.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence, RI 02909 at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be held in Church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Limited capacity and social distancing and masks are required. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics RI, 370 George Washington Hwy, Smithfield, RI 02917.
