ANGELO T. AMATO

Angelo T. Amato 68, of Royal Palm Beach, Fl and of Cranston passed away Monday July 27, 2009 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Deborah (Allspach) Amato. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Concetta (Russo) Amato. Mr. Amato was a Supervisor for the Providence Gas Company until his retirement. Angelo was an avid sports fan, who loved the NY Yankees. Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving daughter, Lisa Hanrahan and her husband Dennis of FL. He was the cherished grandfather of Adam and Jessica Amato, Jill and Lindsey Hanrahan , and was the brother of John, Robert, David Amato and Anne Marie Hickey all of Cranston. Angelo was also the father of the late David Amato. His funeral will be held on Friday at 10 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church Cranston St. Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 5-9 pm.
