ANGELINA “ANGIE” (RAGO) IOZZI, 96, formerly of Lecia Dr., Providence, loving wife for over 65 years of the late Vincent Iozzi passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2022 at the Lincolnwood Rehabilitation Center in North Providence. Raised in Providence, she will join her sisters Jenny Fino, Theresa Giongetti and Sarah Campanelli and her niece Barbara Lombari. She was the devoted mother of Robert A. Iozzi of the ReFocus Group Home in Johnston; also survived by several nieces and nephews that she really loved. Angie always looked forward to the many meals on Sundays and holidays at the home of her niece Cynthia. She also enjoyed the many weekends she spent in Connecticut with her Lombari family.
She was very close to her late sister Jenny and shared the same room together at the Bridge at Cherry Hill assisted living facility in Johnston for several years. They were ALWAYS together. A devoted Catholic, she had been a long-time faithful communicant of Holy Cross Church, Providence. She spent several years working in the costume Jewelry industry.
Angie loved to play BINGO with her sister Jenny at the Casino along with playing the slot machines. They took several bus trips to Foxwoods together. Angie was also appreciative for the devotion her nephew Donny and his sister Lucille gave her during the later years of her life at her home in Providence and the assisted living facility in Johnston.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday, May 6th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Cross Church, 645 Hartford Ave. Providence at 11 a.m. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Friday morning from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
