ANGELINA (IMONDI) VITALO

Angelina (Imondi) Vitalo 94, of Madison Ave. Cranston passed away on Saturday January 9, 2010 surrounded by her loving family at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ferdinand Vitalo. She was born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Rafaela (Iafrate) Imondi. Angelina enjoyed her devotional readings and was a member of St. Rocco's Church, Johnston. She had a passion for cooking and baking which was a treat for all. She will most be remembered for her way of dealing with life's challenges by just keeping them simple. Angelina will be missed by her loving and close family, her daughter, Gloria Pontarelli of Cranston wife of the late Cy Pontarelli where she had resided. Three grandchildren, Lisa Pontarelli of Providence, Michael Pontarelli and his wife Andrea of Cranston, David Pontarelli of Cranston, and two great grandchildren, Emma and Sofia Pontarelli. She was also the sister of Adeline DeFusco of Cranston, and the late Bessie Jacavone, Louise DiRaimo, Louis Imondi, Rose Muoio, and Vincent Imondi. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco's Church Atwood Ave. Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Wednesday morning 8-9 am.
