Angelina E. (Geremia) Sabella

99, died at Cedar Crest Nursing Home in Cranston, January 8, 2021.  Angelina was born in Providence on April 15,1921 to the late Pasquale and Maria (Geremia) Geremia. Angie was predeceased by her husband Felix and her daughter Annie. She was the mother of Barbara and her husband Dr. Joseph Izzi and Michael and his wife Janet Sabella. She was the beloved grandmother of Dr. Joseph Izzi Jr. (Lori), Dr. Jason Izzi (Kim) and Meagan Sabella. She was the proud great grandmother of Santino and Jayci Izzi. Angie worked at the Cranston Senior Center for over 20 years teaching knitting and crocheting as well as hosting lunches & meetings. She was instrumental with a group of friends and students in making and distributing lap throws to the Veterans. She was honored by the Veterans many times for her work. She was also part of a group who made hats & booties for the newborns at Women & Infants Hospital.  Angelina was the older sister of the late Pasquale Geremia, Jr, Carmella Gambuto, Mary Palantonio, and Jenny Latelle.   She is survived by 2 sister-in-law’s Irene L’Abbe, and Jean Sabella. Barbara and Michael would like to sincerely thank Sue, Bobby, Ingrid, Sharon, Kim and the staff of the north wing at Cedar Crest for their love and care of grandma for the last seven years.  She loved you all.

Her funeral services are respectfully private.
