Angelina (Merola) Merlino

97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024. Born to parents Ignazio and Helen (Vernetti) Merola, Angie grew up in Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late Frank A. Merlino. Angie enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, cooking, visiting the casino and Hallmark movies. She worked for Anson Jewelry Company before retiring. 

 She was Mother to her 3 children, Jane Merlino Dail, Barbara Merlino, and Richard Merlino; Grandmother to 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Devlin, Angela Merlino, Emily (Tom) Sweeney, Laura (Guillaume) Quéré, and Christopher Merlino; Great-Grandma to 9 great-grandchildren, Katie Devlin, Teanna Lanzot Lauren Devlin, Amauri Lanzot, Chloe Quéré, Maddie Sweeney, Gavin Sweeney, Ryan Sweeney, and Sophie Quéré; and Great-Great Grandma to Brandon Reynolds, Jr. She was the sister of the late Dora Ryan, James, Vincent, Eugene, Raymond and William Merola.

 Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be on Friday, December 27, 2024 from 5-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Health Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
