ANGELINA BUTTERO (DERAIMO)
Angelina (DeRaimo) Buttero, 87, formerly of Matthewson St., Cranston, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at Kent Regency Center in Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Raemundo Buttero.
Born in Cranston, a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Antonia (Vallente) DiRaimo, she was a lifelong resident of Cranston.
Mrs. Buttero worked for the City of Cranston School Lunch Program for 22 years, retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Cranston Senior Center and Kelley & Gazzero Senior Citizens.
She was the devoted mother of Elizabeth A. Eccles and her husband Drew of Cranston, Cynthia M. Reeser and her husband Fred of Cheyenne, WY, and Raymond C. Buttero of Cranston; loving grandmother of six; and dear sister of Angelo DiRaimo and Anthony DeRaimo, both of Cranston, and the late Frank DiRaimo.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston Wednesday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Matthew's Church, Elmwood Ave., Cranston at 10 a.m.
Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-8 p.m.
