Angelina (Lombardo) Barone 91, of Princess Avenue, Cranston, where she resided her entire life, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at home. She was the wife of the late Albert Barone. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Maria (Mariano) Lombardo. Mrs. Barone was a seamstress for the former Betty's of Providence for thirty-five years before retiring in 1976. She was also a seamstress for several other specialty shops. She is survived by her children, Jerry F. Barone and Ann E. Barone, both of Cranston. Angelina was the grandmother of Jerry Paul Barone of Cranston and Stefanie Barone of New York City. She was the great-grandmother of Nicholas. Angelina was the sister of Filomena Fazio of Cranston and the late Pasquale Lombardo, Mary Manera, Antonetta Manera, Anna Baldino and Elvira Parrillo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
