Angela (DiMaria) Vitalo 84, of Sweet Pea Drive, Cranston died unexpectedly Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Westerly Hospital, Westerly. She was the wife of the late Arthur Vitalo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary Grace (Palazzo) DiMaria. Mrs. Vitalo was a bookkeeper for the former E.A. Adams Company of Pawtucket for over twenty years. She was also employed by the Rhode Island Blood Center of Providence prior to her retirement. She enjoyed celebratory functions with family and friends and occasional trips to Foxwoods. Angela was an avid reader and spent numerous hours assembling jigsaw puzzles. She is survived by her two loving and devoted daughters Catherine A. Vitalo and Suzanne M. Vitalo, both of Cranston. Angela was the sister of Vincent DiMaria of Johnston, Mario DiMaria of Providence and the late Nick and Louis DiMaria, Rose Amitrano and Ann Harford. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew's Church, 305 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
