Angela M. (Tomaselli) Torregrossa

92, of North Providence passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018. Angela was the wife of the late Salvatore Torregrossa. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Pasqualina (Nicolorgio) Tomaselli.

She was talented and creative, sewing for most of her life, making clothing, alterations, and costumes for family and friends. Angela was a caretaker to many. She also worked for the State of Rhode Island.

She was the mother of Mary Torregrossa (Mynor Loarca) of California, Nina Ciniglio (Peter) of Providence, and John Torregrossa. She leaves her grandchildren she was so proud of, Elaine and Nina Loarca and Nicholas Ciniglio. She was the also the mother of the late Paula Torregrossa.

She was the sister of Pauline Torregrossa and the late Anthony Tomaselli, Josephine Scordato, and Evelyn Calitri.

Her funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
