Angela (Forlingieri) DiMaio

97, of Johnston, passed away on January 29, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of the late James J. DiMaio Sr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Carmine and Giuseppina ( Cherello) Forlingieri. Angela was a seamstress for many years.  Working for various businesses throughout the State of Rhode Island.

She is survived by her loving son: James J.  DiMaio, Jr.  and his wife  Francesca DiMaio of Cranston, her cherished grandchildren: Theresa Rose DiMaio and James J. DiMaio III.  She was also the dear sister of: Paul Forlingieri and the late: Concetta Flori, Pasquale Forlingieri, Carmine Forlingieri.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday morning from 9-10am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am St. Joseph’s Church, West Warwick.  Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, amp.cancer.org or Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
