Angela M. (D'Ugo) DeCesaris

June 19, 1941 — July 15, 2023

Angela M. (D'Ugo) DeCesaris

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Angela, a beloved Sister, wife, mother, Godmother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away peacefully on July 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.

She was born on June 19, 1941, to Dr. William and Camille D’Ugo, and grew up at 877 Hartford Ave., Johnston. Angela touched the lives of many with her adventurous spirit, caring nature, and loving personality.

Angela was preceded in death by her childhood sweetheart, her late husband, US Magistrate Judge Frederick R. DeCesaris, and her daughter, Lori A. Brown and her son, Frederick R. DeCesaris, Jr. She is survived by her son Steven DeCesaris, daughter-in-law, Victoria A. DeCesaris, her daughter Susan Pratt, and son-in-law David Pratt. Angela was also a cherished sister to Camile Pitocco and brother-in-law Victor Pitocco of Houston, TX. She was the most beloved Godmother to Paula “Teddy” deCaro.

She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Lauren Kerepka, David Brown, Thomas Pratt, Mario DeCesaris, and Ingrid DeCesaris. She held a special place in her heart for Kirsten, of Germany, who she regarded as another daughter, and of course her faithful canine companion, Benji.

Angela had a zest for life that was contagious. She found joy in spending time with her family, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her love knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment shared with them. She had a passion for cooking and delighted in preparing meals that brought her loved ones together.

Adventurous by nature, Angela loved to travel and experience new cultures. She embraced different perspectives with an open mind and a whimsical spirit. Her ability to connect with people from all walks of life left a lasting impression on those she encountered.

In the hearts of those who knew her Angela will always be remembered for her caring nature, loving demeanor, infectious laughter, and “why not” attitude. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire us all.

We extend our deepest sympathies to all who were fortunate enough to have known and loved Angela. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to us all.

Rest in peace, dear Angela. With love and remembrance.
