76, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Nikolas and Pauline (Vlasopoulos) Ravanes. Mr. Ravanes was a bar manager for thirty-six years before his retirement. Andrew served in the US Army during the Korean War era.
He is survived by his niece Eleni Pappas-Zervos of Narragansett. Andrew was the brother of the late Constance "Connie" Ravanes.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Pawtucket. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 175 Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
