Andrea Ceprano

88, of Providence passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020.  He was the beloved husband of Domenica (Acciardo) Ceprano for sixty years.

Born in Teano Caserta, Italy, he was a son of the late Arduino and Antonetta (Marcello) Ceprano.

Mr.  Ceprano served in the Italian Army from 1956-1957 and moved to the US in 1961.

He was employed by Colonial Knife for forty years before retiring. He enjoyed carpentry with his dear friend and mentor Tony Forlini with whom he proudly built his family a home.

Andrea took great pride in growing his fig trees.  He also enjoyed making homemade sausage and wine.  He always looked forward to taking his family trips to Italy.  He was his happiest when surrounded by his family and friends.

Besides his wife, he leaves his loving children, Al Ceprano and fiancée Nikki Trimmell and Annette DiTraglia and husband Joseph DiTraglia; adored grandfather of Melissa DiTraglia-Aliotta and her husband Anthony Aliotta; cherished brother of Virginia Corrente and Angelo Ceprano both of Italy; beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Friday, December 18, 2020 at 11am in St. Barthlomew Church, 297 Laurel Hill Avenue, Providence.  His Entombment in St. Ann Cemetery will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Bartholomew Church.
